Tratamento da osteoporose pós-menopausa

Abstract: A osteoporose pós menopausa é a forma mais freqüente de osteoporose. Como a evolução da osteoporose é silenciosa, é importante a sua prevenção. A reposição hormonal é a indicação mais fisiológica para prevenção e tratamento. Comentamos as várias opções terapêu-ticas do tratamento da osteoporose pós menopausa em pacientes em que há contra-indicação ou recusa para TRH, não há resposta do metabolismo ósseo ao TRH ou quadro de osteoporose instalada.
