Luiz Gama and the racial satire as the transgression poetry: diasporic poetry as counter-narrative to the idea of race

Abstract: This article interprets and analyzes the cultural production of the poet, journalist, mason, abolitionist, lawyer and political leader Luiz Gama. The city of São Paulo was the area of his accomplishments, best location for the emergence of a diasporic identity politics.
