Abstract:Resumo Investigamos uma importante referência de Giorgio Agamben, a qual até o momento teve pouco peso nas interpretações que a literatura secundária tem feito a respeito de seu pensamento político-jurídico. Argumentamos que apesar de praticamente nunca se referir a ela explicitamente, os escritos de Simone Weil são uma companhia constante de Agamben. Nos interessamos particularmente pelo ensaio de Weil A pessoa e o sagrado, sobre o qual Agamben se debruçou já em sua tese de láurea em direito.
