Encapsulating peritoneal sclerosis: from early diagnosis to successful kidney transplantation

Abstract: Encapsulating peritoneal sclerosis is an uncommon but serious complication of peritoneal dialysis. In most cases, the symptoms appear after peritoneal dialysis withdrawal, which hampers its diagnosis.
