Irisin and troponin I expression in dialysis patients submitted to remote ischemic preconditioning: a pilot study

Abstract: Background: Renal replacement therapy continues to be related to high hospitalization rates and poor quality of life. All-cause morbidity and mortality in renal replacement therapy in greater than 20% per year, being 44 times greater when diabetes is present, and over 10 times that of the general population.
