Small Parmeliaceae (liquenized Ascomycota) of Ilhabela State Park and nearby areas, São Paulo state, Brazil

Abstract: A survey of lichens at Ilhabela State Park and nearby areas in São Sebastião Island revealed the occurrence of 12 taxa belonging to six genera of small foliose Parmeliaceae, which are characterized by usually small thalli (hardly > 10 cm in diameter) with narrow lobes or laciniae less than 1 cm wide. Comments are provided for the species registered.
