Polinização por vibração em Saxofridericia (Poales: Rapateaceae): o caso de S. brasiliensis e abelhas Euglossini

Abstract: Resumo Foram realizadas observações a respeito da biologia reprodutiva de uma espécie de Rapateaceae recentemente descrita (Saxofridericia brasiliensis) em uma área de Campina Fechada periodicamente alagada. Durante o período de floração, as inflorescências foram ensacadas com o intuito de identificar se a espécie forma frutos por meio de autopolinização espontânea.
