Peperomia (Piperaceae) no Parque Estadual de Vila Velha, Paraná

Abstract

Resumo Peperomia é um gênero pantropical e está representado no Brasil por 171 espécies que ocorrem nos domínios fitogeográficos da Amazônia, Caatinga, Cerrado e Mata Atlântica. Um estudo taxonômico para o gênero no Parque Estadual de Vila Velha foi realizado através de expedições de campo, visita a herbários e literatura especializada. Um total de 16 espécies foram confirmadas na área de estudo. As espécies Peperomia crinicaulis, P. hilariana, P. subrubrispica e P. velloziana são endêmicas do Brasil. Seis espécies apresentadas são novas ocorrências para essa Unidade de Conservação. Esse estudo apresenta chave de identificação, descrições, comentários e ilustrações das espécies de Peperomia com ocorrência na área de estudo.
