I wanted another life for myself. My dream was to become a travesti, to transform myself, to be beautiful and it was my own choice of becoming a travesti. Then nature helped me a little, and [laughing] I became the woman I am today … Most come [to Rio de Janeiro] in search of success, to make a living, to become a travesti, to be transformed as the great majority arrive as gay, without experience.
