Periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis and cervical adenitis syndrome in children: a brief literature review

Abstract: Objective: To describe clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic characteristics of the periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis and cervical adenitis (PFAPA) syndrome. Data source: Literature review in the PubMed database by using specific descriptors to identify all articles published in the English language in the last three years; 38 articles were found.
