“Malhar” as a metaphor of physical exercise

Abstract: This research seeks to contribute to the understanding of the problem of motivation to the regular practice of physical and sporting activities. To do so, we analyze the metaphorical use of the word “malhar”, which, in Brazil, is associated with physical exercise.
