Abstract:RESUMO Faz-se importante discutir a história da Educação de Surdos a partir de narrativas questionadoras da colonialidade de poder linguístico imposta a esses sujeitos. Como hipótese, tem-se que o ouvintismo impactou negativamente a historicidade do povo surdo, subjulgando seu processo educacional.
