Abstract:In this work, Zn 2 SnO 4 :Co 2+ (0.1%) was obtained through a solid-state reaction at high temperature using ZnO, SnO 2 , and CoCO 3 . The sample was investigated using X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence, scanning electron microscopy, and photoluminescence spectroscopy. Rietveld refinements of the X-ray diffraction data showed two crystalline phases, Zn 2 SnO 4 and SnO 2 , with proportions of 97.24% and 2.76%, respectively, while Zn and Sn atoms were observed by X-ray fluorescence. Scanning electron microsc… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
