Abstract:Resumo Em 10 de julho de 1862, a e(i)migrante Maria Eugênia, moradora da Freguesia de Ribeirinho, na Ilha Terceira, ao embarcar no Patacho Esperança com destino ao Rio de Janeiro, declarou que devia ao capitão daquela embarcação a quantia de 70 pesos, referente a uma passagem de proa.
