Abstract:Based on fertile material collected in January 2019, we report the first record of Pradosia ptychandra (Sapotaceae, Chrysophylloideae) to the flora of Amapá state, eastern Brazilian Amazonia. This new record fills a geographical gap between its previously known occurrences in the Guiana Shield and central Amazonia, improving our knowledge of its distribution pattern.
