Os crustáceos parásitos de peixes da Amazonia Brasileira. I-Ergasilus bryconis n. sp. (Copepoda: Cyclopoidea) da matrinchã (Brycon melanopterus (Cope))

Abstract: ResumoUma nova espécie de crustáceo -Ergasilus bry· conis n. sp. -é descrita parasitando um peixe amazô-co chamado matrinchã [ Characidae: Brycon melanopterus (Cope)). A nova espécie distingue-se das demais conhecidas por ter o endopódito IV com dois segmentos e um único espinho na primeira maxila.
