Abstract:RESUMO Eczema facial é uma fotossensibilização induzida causada por Pithomyces chartarum. Este fungo, saprófita sobre certas gramíneas e leguminosas forrageiras, produz uma micotoxina hepatotóxica denominada esporodesmina e determina, em algumas áreas do Brasil, danos na pele de ovinos, caprinos e bovinos.
