“…De maneira geral, os resultados apontaram que a probabilidade de emissão de um instrumento financeiro híbrido aumenta quando a seguradora é de maior porte, possui maior custo de capital e maior grau de alavancagem, em linha com achados anteriores, com destaque para o fato de que tal propensão aumenta substancialmente se uma companhia seguradora estiver localizada em jurisdição cuja duration gap é considerada elevada (característica peculiar de entidades que emitem contratos de longo prazo).
