Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease: scintigraphy in the diagnosis of steatohepatitis

Abstract: OBJECTIVE: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is the most prevalent cause of chronic liver disease worldwide. Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis is associated with increased mortality rates due to the liver and cardiovascular diseases.
