Fragmentation Characteristics and Damage Capacity of Radial Layered PELE

Abstract: PELE (the Penetrator with Enhanced Lateral Effect) produces a large number of fragments after penetrating metal target plate, which can damage the high-value targets behind the shield plate in a large area. However, when facing the multilayer spaced metal shield plates, it is difficult to penetrate them and damage the targets behind them due to the limited penetration ability of the fragments.
