“Family business”: Does the family structure affect the performance of listed companies?

Abstract: Purpose: This paper sought to verify the influence of family structure on the performance of family companies listed in Brazil between 2010 and 2017. We also analyzed the impact of monitoring and duality on the performance of these companies.
