Abstract:The aim of this study was to evaluate the antimicrobial susceptibility profile of Aeromonas sp., and Escherichia coli isolated from samples of yellow hake (Cynoscion acoupa). We analyzed 53 Aeromonas spp. and four E. coli isolates. We observed increased resistance of E. coli to levofloxacin and sulfa-trimethoprim as well as resistance of Aeromonas spp. to ampicillin, amoxicillin-clavulanate, cefuroxime, and cefotaxime.
