Abstract: Phosphating is a metallic surface treatment widely used in the industrial environment as it provides greater adhesion of the paint film to the metallic substrate and greater efficiency in inhibiting corrosion. The conditioning agents in the phosphating process contribute to reducing the time to obtain the phosphate layer and favor the refinement of the formed crystals.
