The Effect of the Intensity of Estrus Expression on the Follicular Diameter and Fertility of Nellore Cows Managed Under a Ftai Program

Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the intensity of estrus expression on the ovulatory follicle diameter (OFD) and its effect on the conception rate in zebu females managed under a FTAI program. “…No presente estudo houve uma associação entre as dimensões foliculares e a expressão do estro, corroborando aos achados de algumas pesquisas que indicaram uma relação entre o estro antes da IATF e o maior diâmetro do folículo ovulatório [36][37][38]44,45].
