“…In order to validate EFs estimated from the tube furnace in the present study, EFs for CO, , and PM were compared with the published EFs from various fuel combustion conditions (in-ground vs. aboveground biomass fuels). We also expressed EFs per by using the heat energy ( ) of each fuel burned, which was 21.70 for the red oak ( Ince 1979 ), 23.00 for the peat ( Morvay and Gvozdenac 2008 ), 11.96 for the pine needles ( de Muñiz et al 2014 ), 20.00 for the pine ( Nielson et al 1985 ), and 19.25 for the eucalyptus ( de Muñiz et al 2014 ).…”

“…The obtained data (table 3) shows that the cultivation conditions had significant effect only on vascular bundle thickness and stomata density, when the open field gave the more effective result of vascular bundle thickness (45.000um), and the more stomata density (84.333.mm -2 ) was recorded under 50% shade (lath house). However, table (4) shows significant effects of studied organic fertilizers on mesophyll thickness and stomata density, the most significant value of the mesophyll (32.333.mm -2 ) was obtained in the control without significant differences with compost treatment. While, it was observed highest significant increase in stomata density with Bamboo biochar application (94.333um) and local compost treatment gave the lowest value (49.500 um) compared to the treatment.…”

“…Isto causa a redução do PCL e uniformidade do mesmo entre os diferentes componentes. Já o maior PCS para acículas e cascas pode ser explicado pelo maior teor de lignina (na casca) e extrativos (resina) presentes nos mesmos (MUÑIZ et al, 2014). Este comportamento foi semelhante para a idade de 14 anos, no qual a casca apresentou os maiores valores de PCS e PCL e menor valor para o TU, não diferindo significativamente apenas das acículas em relação ao PCS (Tabela 2).…”
