Objective: to interpret, from the perspective of the Theory of Communicative Action, how the outcome of nursing errors can become attractive to the media, highlighting the main implications for the image of the profession and the imaginary of society. Method: qualitative research, carried out in documentary sources using news published in the major newspapers available online in two countries, Brazil and Portugal, from 2012 to 2016. The analysis of the findings was carried out following the steps of hermeneutics, based on the Theory of Communicative Action. The data were organized and coded in the ATLAS.ti software. Results: the research included 112 published news. Four categories emerged from the analysis: The highlights in the headlines - The beginning of persuasion; Combining image and initial text - An explosive mix; The error that is not an error - The error that is a crime; and Applying the validity claims in the discourses. Conclusion: the media are continuous producers of ideologies and, therefore, possess social responsibility by inducing misinterpretations that can negatively interfere in the nurse-patient interaction. Giving greater emphasis to the outcome of the error, the media influences negatively the people perception of nursing labour which has a unique social importance.

Resumo A intersecção de gênero, raça e classe marca os territórios de exclusão social, especialmente em um país que carrega cicatrizes da colonialidade patriarcal e capitalista em suas estruturas, como é o caso do Brasil. O objetivo deste trabalho é compreender o cuidado em um desses territórios: a cidade de Cubatão/SP. A investigação, feita entre 2017 e 2020, incluiu a pandemia da covid-19, que sobrecarregou o cuidado no território. O método foi a pesquisa qualitativa, com oficinas, observação participante e entrevistas de profundidade. O cuidado era majoritariamente oferecido por mulheres, líderes comunitárias e profissionais da atenção primária do Sistema Único de Saúde. Para analisar os dados, utilizou-se a hermenêutica de profundidade. O referencial teórico foi a costura das teorias feministas da ética do cuidado, ecofeministas e interseccionais. A pesquisa revelou diversos desafios e potencialidades, como o cuidado ético-político, eixo da busca por justiça socioambiental.

A ResumoIntrodução: A intervenção fisioterapêutica motora pode prevenir ou diminuir a fraqueza muscular de pacientes em tratamento intensivo. Objetivo: descrever as intervenções fisioterapêuticas motoras e seus efeitos nos desfechos clínicos de pacientes adultos em UTI. Métodos: revisão integrativa de literatura. As buscas aconteceram nas bases Scielo, PubMed, Scopus e Embase com artigos em inglês, espanhol e português de 2012 a 2021. O caminho metodológico foi conduzido com o auxílio do software Atlas Ti. Resultados: Foram incluídas 21 publicações. Estas, imergiram três categorias temáticas: "mobilização precoce", "cicloergômetro" e "estimulação elétrica neuromuscular". A avaliação pela escala PEDro mostrou o predomínio de pesquisas de média qualidade Conclusões: o interesse dos últimos anos concentrou-se na mobilização precoce, estimulação elétrica neuromuscular e exercícios em cicloergômetro. Devido à qualidade metodológica média dos estudos e aos desfechos heterogêneos há, ainda, evidências insuficientes para guiar a prática clínica.
