Man is a social being by nature. The need to relate is one of their basic desires for natural survival. This exchange of experience encourages the improvement of values, principles, and the consolidation of personal beliefs. Personal behavioral labeling that is invariably transported to the professional universe. It is not possible to dissociate them, such is the reciprocal influence. The detail lies in personal impressions in a professional context. Questions such as which principles and values to follow, how to stay true to what you believe in, how to disagree without losing respect for others are part of the routine of companies made up of people. These same people, the true gems of any organization, are responsible for the success or otherwise of the enterprise. They are the ones that provide the ruler for decision-making, for measuring behaviors, for setting goals and also for determining the corporate cultural standard. In this sense, the present work has given due importance to human capital by addressing the issue of interrelational conflictology with the organizational behavioral reflection and the bridge of communication within these same conflicts for the establishment of culture.

RESUMO A leishmaniose é um grande problema atualmente na saúde pública global e é uma doença endêmica em várias regiões do Brasil e do mundo, causada por protozoários do gênero Leishmania, sendo que as principais espécies que causam a leishmaniose visceral em cães são a Leishmania infantum e L. chagasi, que são disseminadas pela picada do mosquito flebotomíneo. Os maiores reservatórios da leishmaniose visceral são os cães domésticos. O aumento do número de cães abandonados em abrigo tem aumentado bastante, e o risco de disseminação de doenças entre esses animais em abrigo tornou-se constante. O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a prevalência da leishmaniose em cães de abrigo no município de Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. Foram selecionados 39 cães no abrigo da Associação Protetora de Animais (APA) e diagnosticados pelo teste triagem ALERE® Leishmania, sendo identificados dois animais soropositivos. Os mesmos foram também reagentes positivos ao teste confirmatório ELISA, sendo considerados doentes. A prevalência aparente observada foi de 5,12% (IC 95%: 1,42-16,89) e a identificação de casos confirmados da leishmaniose canina é útil para detectar áreas de riscos, e assim tomar medidas preventivas e de promoção em saúde.

The domestic dog is considered the main reservoir of visceral leishmaniasis (VL) in urban areas, but the identification of cats infected by Leishmania suggests the possibility of these animals also acting as reservoirs. The incrimination of a species as reservoir requires the accumulation of epidemiological evidence on the co-occurrence between such species and the infection in question. This is a systematic review of epidemiological studies evaluating the association between exposure to cats and occurrence of VL in humans (HVL) or dogs (CVL). Among the six studies addressing CVL, one showed a higher chance of CVL in the presence of cats, one showed an inverse relationship between the presence of cats and CVL, and four were inconclusive. Among the four studies evaluating HVL, three were inconclusive, and one showed an association between the presence of cats and HVL among patients with renal transplantation. The inconsistency of the results, associated to the methodological weaknesses of the studies analyzed, does not allow a firm conclusion that there is co-occurrence between exposure to cats and VL. Methodologically robust studies should be performed to elucidate the role of cats in VL transmission.
