This experimental catchment is representative of the South American volcanic basaltic rocks (Borges & Bordas, ; Castro, Auzet, Chevallier, & Leprun, ), with nearly homogeneous land‐use and climate features (Castro, Chevallier, & Goldenfum, ; Pereira, Kobiyama, & Castro, ; Viero, ).
