Abstract:Perception alterations can result from multiple causes including psychiatric, neurologic and ophthalmologic. Examples of these are the metamorphopsias, which are mainly due to right temporal lesions. Its most common form is micropsia, characterized by visual illusions in which the size of the object is underestimated.
