Measuring human capital: methodological framework for assessing competitiveness and economic development

Abstract: This article focused on the relationship between human capital (HC) and competitiveness in Russia. The study examined (1) the impact of investments in knowledge-intensive industries on the socio-economic development; (2) the impact of the share of employees; (3) the impact of religious factors on HC; and (4) the problems of forming H at innovative enterprises.
