Novas perspectivas nos estudos do espiritismo e da espiritualidade

Abstract

ta Catarina (UFSC) em 2016, o livro Espiritualidade e Espiritismo: reflexões para além da religiosidade propõe uma atualização dos debates acadêmicos sobre o espiritismo no Brasil e a noção de "espiritualidade". Organizado por André Ricardo de Souza, Pedro Simões e Rodrigo Toniol, a obra divide-se entre estes dois eixos temáticos: enquanto o primeiro, intitulado "Questões do espiritismo no Brasil", apresenta uma unificação temática mais concisa relativa ao espiritismo, o segundo, intitulado "A espiritualidade sob olhares que cruzam fronteiras", privilegia a análise da espiritualidade como categoria analítica e como fenômeno empírico.
