Abstract: RESUMO Objetivo: avaliar se a projeção lateral da glândula tireoide, chamada tubérculo de Zuckerkandl (TZ), pode auxiliar o cirurgião na identificação do nervo laríngeo inferior durante a tireoidectomia convencional aberta.
