PLANT GROWTH-PROMOTING MICROBIAL INOCULANT FOR Schizolobium parahyba pv. parahyba

Abstract: Schizolobium parahyba pv. amazonicum (Huber ex Ducke) Barneby (paricá) occurs naturally in the Amazon and is significant commercial importance due to its rapid growth and excellent performance on cropping systems. The aim of this paper was to evaluate a microbial inoculants such as arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi (AMF) and Rhizobium sp. that promote plant growth. The inocula was 10 g of root colonized and spores of Glomus clarum and/or 1 mL of cell suspension (107 CFU/mL) of Rhizobium sp. and/or 100 g of chemical … Show more

“…In agricultural research, the biological control effects of compounds produced by microorganisms, mainly fungi and bacteria, against orange, maize, passion fruit, and soybean pests, as well as their growth-promoting activities, have been evaluated (ANTUNES et al, 2020;SHIOMI, 2019;GONÇALVES et al, 2015;MURATE et al, 2015;KHOSHRU et al, 2020;OLIVEIRA et al, 2016;MELO, 2017;MINHONI, 2015;ZAMBIAZZI et al, 2011;ZAMBIAZZI et al, 2016).…”

“…Fungi and bacteria can also promote plant growth by modulating their responses to different stress factors, such as temperature, humidity, and pathogens (GONÇALVES et al, 2015;KHOSHRU et al, 2020). This plant growth-promoting activity has been described mainly for fungi, such as Glomus clarum, and bacteria, such as Rhizobium sp.…”
