Caracterização morfofisiológica e patogênica de isolados de Armillaria na região Sul do Brasil

Abstract: Colonies presented variation in mycelial morphology, irregular growth without radial symmetry, coloration varying from white, to gray and to brown, and most often with rhizomorphs. Analysis of hyphae revealed typical structures of the Armillaria genus, such as clamp connections, septa, pilosities and resinous masses on the hyphal surface. Rhizomorph morphology appeared variable depending on the environment, presenting pilosities when developed in aerial growth and smooth surface when developed in the culture m… Show more

“…For the production of pure cultures, in a laminar flow hood, the fungus was removed from the mineral oil, with the help of a bacteriological loop and inoculated into Petri dishes containing PDA medium. The plates were incubated in a BOD chamber at 24 ℃, in the dark, for 10 days (Silva et al, 2018).…”

The fungi cultivation tests were performed in a liquid medium following the methodology of Silva et al (2018), varying the type of broth, temperature and time of cultivation.…”
