To explore the application effect of high-quality nursing quality control in disinfection supply center. The control group consisted of 1850 medical devices managed using the conventional quality control mode from January 2021 to December 2021, while the observation group consisted of 1900 medical devices managed using the high-quality nursing quality control mode from January 2022 to December 2022. The qualified rates of equipment cleaning, sterilization, and packaging were analyzed in both the observation and control groups. The occurrence of nosocomial infections in 2021 and 2022 were compared, and the changes in the Beck-Srivaatava stress scale index (BSSI) and Symptom Checklist-90 scores of the staff before and after implementing the high-quality nursing quality control mode were analyzed. The qualified rate of equipment cleaning, sterilization, and packaging in the observation group were 99.08%, 99.73%, and 99.78%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < .05). The incidence of nosocomial infections in interventional and surgical cases in 2022 was 0.79%, which was significantly lower than that in 2021 (P < .05). The BSSI score of female staff was (68.76 ± 7.81) points, which was higher than that of male staff (P < .05). After the implementation of the high-quality nursing quality control mode, the BSSI score of the staff was (47.76 ± 9.12) points, which was significantly lower than that before implementation (P < .05). After the implementation of the high-quality nursing quality control mode, the staff’s Symptom Checklist-90 scores for somatization, compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, hostility, and paranoia were (1.28 ± 0.29), (1.53 ± 0.24), (1.50 ± 0.21), (1.46 ± 0.32), (1.44 ± 0.26), and (1.38 ± 0.30) points, respectively, showing a decrease compared to before implementation (P < .05). The high-quality nursing quality control mode has great application value in the disinfection supply center. It can effectively improve the qualified rates of equipment cleaning, sterilization, and packaging, prevent nosocomial infections and improve the working pressure and psychological health of staff.

Background: The work has been brought to nursing professionals, denoting an increase in illness and consequent decrease in productivity. Objective: This study aims to verify the relationship between productivity and the presence of musculoskeletal symptoms in presenteeism. Methods: This is a cross-sectional and analytical study conducted with 305 Nursing workers from an emergency hospital in the Brazilian Midwest region. For data collection, four self-applied instruments were used, namely: the Sociodemographic Work and Health Conditions Questionnaire (QSCTS), the Stanford Presenteeism Scale (SPS-6), the Work Limitations Questionnaire (WLQ), and the Brazilian version of the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ), Nordic Musculoskeletal Symptom Questionnaire (QNSO). The “presenteeism” and “presenteeism degree” dependent variables were related to the independent variables using the logistic regression model. Results: Presenteeism was identified in 134 (43.8%) workers. Overall productivity loss was 8.8%. Regarding the relationship between presenteeism and the occurrence of musculoskeletal symptoms, workers with problems in the upper back, knees, and neck in the last year were 6.5, 2.7, and 2.2 more likely to be presenteeism, respectively. Conclusion: The study confirmed the relationship between greater productivity losses and the incidence of musculoskeletal symptoms with presenteeism events in the Nursing team.

Introdução: O processo de gestão hospitalar envolve todas as atividades relacionadas com a administração de um hospital ou instituição de saúde. o enfermeiro desempenha um papel fundamental no processo de gestão no ambiente da saúde. Ele exerce funções de planejamento, organização, coordenação, direção e controle, visando garantir a qualidade e eficiência dos serviços prestados. Objetivo: Reconhecer o papel essencial do profissional de enfermagem na condução do processo de gestão. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, com carácter de estudo descritivo e abordagem qualitativa, em que foi realizada buscas no sistema da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde do Ministério da Saúde (BVS). Resultados e Discussão: Mediante as análises literárias realizadas, verificou-se que o papel da enfermagem no processo de gestão hospitalar é essencial para garantir a qualidade e eficiência dos serviços de saúde prestados, que envolve a distribuição de tarefas, a definição de protocolos e a supervisão do trabalho desenvolvido pelos profissionais. Nesse aspecto, a gestão em enfermagem é de extrema importância para o ambiente hospitalar, pois ela é responsável por supervisionar e coordenar as atividades dos profissionais de enfermagem, garantindo a qualidade e segurança do atendimento prestado aos pacientes. Considerações finais: Em suma, a gestão na área da enfermagem desempenha um papel de extrema relevância ao fomentar a colaboração entre equipes e ao aprimorar o ambiente organizacional.
