Objective: to develop and validate an educational technology for individuals living with the human immunodeficiency virus. Method: a methodological study, for the elaboration of educational material. The educational needs, content selection, and illustrations were defined from interviews with the target population. Afterward, we carried the writing, the material layout elaboration, and assembly and, subsequently, it was validated by specialists. The content validation was established from the Level Content Validity Index higher than 0.8. Results: the educational material was prepared for adults living with the human immunodeficiency virus, with a focus on health promotion and quality of life, and was prepared in five volumes. The validation was made by 22 multi-professional judges selected according to the criteria established in the study. All items were evaluated as relevant by the judges and the average obtained with the index was 0.97. Conclusion: the booklet has been validated in terms of content, language, and appearance by experts in the field. We believe that through this technology it is possible to contribute to the health literacy and empowerment of individuals living with the human immunodeficiency virus, strengthening their autonomy.

Objective: to know the acting of nurses front pregnant women living with HIV/AIDS. Method: qualitative study, developed through semi-structured interview, with nurses from Family Health Strategies. The data were submitted to thematic content analysis. Results: the idea persists that prenatal care for pregnant women living with HIV/AIDS differs from side dish other women who do not have the disease. Nurses consider it necessary to refer this clientele to specialized services. They do not feel prepared/trained to attend these pregnant women, as they understand that they need special care and additional guidance, mainly related to exams and drug treatment. Conclusion: immediate needs relative to the theme of the study were identified, such as the need for permanent professional education, academic training for infectious diseases, flowchart in atenction prenatal care that helps in the identification and referral of pregnant women, in addition to research from the perspective of pregnant women living with HIV/AIDS.

Resumo Objetivo: Construir e validar um vídeo educativo em Libras para educação em saúde de surdos acerca da Aids e suas formas de transmissão. Métodos: Estudo de desenvolvimento metodológico, com referencial psicométrico, desenvolvido em uma escola de audiocomunicação. Participaram cinco juízes e 18 pessoas surdas. Na coleta dos dados utilizou-se escala Likert e, na análise, o Alfa de Cronbach e o Índice de Validade de Conteúdo (IVC). Resultados: O vídeo educativo “Comunicação em Libras: aprendendo sobre a Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida (Aids), tem duração de 20 minutos. O roteiro do vídeo foi dividido em três blocos e respectivos itens: Bloco A - Aids, formas de transmissão, sinais e sintomas, diagnóstico, tratamento, prevenção; Bloco B - Tipos de preservativos. Bloco C - Aids, um problema de saúde pública. Obteve-se entre os juízes IVC médio de 0,96 para os itens e de 0,90 para os critérios psicométricos de avaliação geral. Entre os surdos obteve-se IVC médio de 0,87. O Alpha de Cronbach Total para os juízes foi 0,989 e, para os surdos 0,634. Conclusão: O vídeo educativo apresenta evidências de validade e representatividade para ser utilizado na assistência e nos processos de educação em saúde do público-alvo.
