This type of headache meets the diagnostic criteria for new daily persistent headache (NDPH) and has been reported to have holocranial, pressure-like pain characteristics that start within 2 weeks after SARS-CoV-2 infection, especially in outpatients without a preexisting primary headache diagnosis ( Liu et al, 2020 ).
