Insomnia: can it be treated?

Abstract: Both sleep and wakefulness in excess are signs of illness. Aphorism LXXI -Hippocrates, 5 th century BC H ippocrates, the father of Medicine, spoke of the importance of sleep through this wonderful aphorism.
