Pragmatic Language and Schizophrenia: Interpretation of Metaphors

Abstract: Background: Schizophrenia is a severe and chronic psychiatric disorder with significant cognitive deficits, which are considered structural markers for the disease. Language disturbances have an important role in patients' social functioning and interpersonal relationships.
