Abstract: Background Peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) is a lethal regional progression in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). Treatment with complete cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) achieves better local control than systemic palliative chemotherapy.
