Abstract: Relapsing polychondritis is an uncommon, immune-mediated condition characterized by episodes of inflammation of cartilaginous structures, especially the ears, nose, joints and respiratory tract. RP also affects proteoglycan-rich structures such as the eyes, heart, blood vessels and inner ear.
