Evaluation of the Western blotting method for the diagnosis of congenital toxoplasmosis

Abstract: The IgG-WB showed greater sensitivity than the detection of IgM anti-T. gondii; therefore, it can be used for the diagnosis of congenital toxoplasmosis in association with other congenital infection markers.
