Количество публикаций увеличивается с каждым годом. В связи с этим возрастает необходимость информирования аудитории достижениями практической оториноларингологии Узбекистана. По плану администрации огромное значение придают по самоподготовке кадров с привлечением кафедральных работников. Перегородка носа представляет собой костно-хрящевую стенку, которая делит полость носа на две половины - правую и левую. Бессимптомное незначительное отклонение перегородки считается нормальным и встречается у большинства населения Республики. Искривление перегородки носа (ИПН) является одним из актуальных вопросов не только в оториноларингологии, но и во многих аспектах практической медицины, как детской стоматологии, педиатрии, терапии, неврологии и т.п. Об этом свидетельствует обширная литература, указывающая на изменение функций отдаленных органов и систем организма. Сообщаемые глобальные показатели распространенности (эпидемиологии) весьма различаются. Предыдущие системы классификации ИПН были предложены в соответствии с формами перегородки носа, рассматриваемой горизонтально и вертикально. У некоторых пациентов степень отклонения может влиять на носовой поток воздуха, вызывая обструкцию или нарушая обонятельную функцию. Головная боль, риносинусит, высокое кровяное давление, обструктивное апноэ во сне и шумы при дыхании также относятся к клиническим проявлениям искривления носовой перегородки. Для постановки диагноза достаточно клиническая (риноскопическая) картина, в то время как методы визуализации может быть необходимым для оформление медицинских документации. Радиологические методы визуализации, такие как компьютерная томография (МСКТ), используются для классификации и оценки характера искривления перегородки. Методом лечения искривления перегородки носа является хирургическая коррекция. Септопластика является наиболее распространенной оперативной коррекцией носа с высоким уровнем удовлетворенности и низким уровнем осложнений. В этом описательном обзоре мы представляем исчерпывающую информацию о концепции, клинической картине, диагностике, вариантах лечения и качестве жизни пациентов с искривленной перегородкой носа. Статья рассчитана на широкий круг оториноларингологов и других специальностей. Рекомендуются литературные Интернет источники со ссылками для самообучения.

The nasal septum is an osteocartilaginous wall that divides the nose into two nasal cavities. Asymptomatic minor deviation of the septum is considered a normal developmental variation found in the majority of the population. The reported global prevalence rates had great variation due to the extent of deviation considered in the reporting studies. Previous classification systems have been proposed to classify the nasal septal deviation according to the characteristics of the nasal septum seen horizontally and vertically. For some patients, the degree of the deviation may affect the nasal airflow causing obstruction or impairing the olfactory function. Headache, rhinosinusitis, high blood pressure, obstructive sleep apnea, and breathing sounds are also among the clinical presentations of nasal septal deviation. Clinical assessment is sufficient to make the diagnosis while imaging techniques are required for decision-making. Radiological imaging techniques such as computed tomography (CT) are used to classify and assess the severity of the deviated septum. Surgical correction is the treatment option for nasal septal deviation. Septoplasty is the most common procedure used for nasal correction with high satisfaction levels and low complication rates. In this review, we present a comprehensive summary of the concept, presentation, diagnosis, management options, and quality of life of patients with nasal septal deviation.

Aims: The aim of this study was to identify the changes in blood markers of inflammation and the systemic immune inflammatory index in patients with nasal septum deviation (NSD). An additional aim was to determine if there was a significant difference in the findings according to septum deviation type. Methods: This retrospective study included 321 patients diagnosed with NSD via physical examination and CT (NSD group), and 101 healthy controls. Standard complete blood count was performed. Main blood parameters and mean platelet volume (MPV), the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and the systemic immune inflammatory index (SII) were recorded. NSD was classified as 3 types according to Dreher classification, and the types were compared to each other and the control group.
