Acute exacerbation of chronic hepatitis B virus infection in renal transplant patients

Abstract: Acute exacerbation was a frequent and severe event in HBV-infected renal transplant patients. Prophylactic/preemptive therapy with antiviral drugs should be indicated for all HBsAg-positive renal transplant patients.
