“…The merit of our polymers is that the conjugated polymer main chains consist only of stable aromatic portions. However, their PL peaks in the film states were observed at around 480 nm with a broad shoulder band at about 520 nm tailing to 600 nm, which were considerably longer in wavelength compared with those in CHCl 3 , and the color of PL was green-blue. This redshift is mainly due to specific p-stacks of naphthalene portions and excimeric emissions caused by strong interaction between the polymer main chains.…”
