Abstract: A new dwarf form (15-25 cm) of hexaploid triticale differing in its morphology from all the accessions of the world collection was studied. Analysis of the F 1 -F 3 hybrids between this triticale form and the triticale with common morphology has demonstrated that the dwarfism is determined by one gene with an incomplete dominance, which influences several morphological traits (internode length, leaf structure, and spike length, density, and color).
