Abstract: The title compound, [FeHg(C5H5)(C18H11Cl2N)Cl], was prepared by the reaction of [(2‐chlorophenyl)(3‐chlorophenylimino)methyl]ferrocene, mercury acetate and lithium chloride. The N⋯Hg separation of 2.884 (5) Å suggests a weak coordination interaction.
