Abstract: In the title compound, C12H11NO2, synthesized by 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition reaction of nitrile oxides with sodium pentane‐2,4‐dionate, all bond lengths and angles are normal. In the molecule, the isoxazole and phenyl rings make a dihedral angle of 84.8 (1)°.
