The OBs are hydrophilic, water‐soluble compounds mainly derived from coumarins, diphenyl pyrazoline, heterocyclic dicarboxylic acid, naphthalene dicarboxylic acid, and diaminostilbenedisulphonic acid, the latter being the most used .
