1-[2,6-Dichloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-5-[(4-methoxyphenyl)methyleneimino]-1H-pyrazole-3-carbonitrile

Abstract: The title compound, C19H11Cl2F3N4O, is a tricyclic imide with an overall U‐shape, each of the the three rings being planar. In the crystal structure, the molecular packing is stabilized by π–π interactions occurring between adjacent methoxyphenyl rings.

“…In the crystal structure, there are no obviousinteractions between the pyrazole and benzene rings, although such interactions were found in 1-[2,6-dichloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-5-[(4-methoxyphenyl)methyleneimino]-1H-pyrazole-3-carbonitrile (Zhang et al, 2005).…”
